The opening of Elton John’s 1974 festive hit ‘Step Into Christmas’ is an apt way to begin our last blog article of 2025 where we focus on hosting a festive Algarve experience, whether it be this year in your own home, your scheduled Christmas holiday in the golden triangle coming up, or even next year in the comfort of luxury.

From November’s European chill in the winter air to warmer climes in luxury - there’s a sense of thrill when you jet off for a warm weather getaway, especially here in the Algarve’s golden triangle at this time of year.

When people talk about fine dining in the Algarve, the conversation usually circles the same polished enclaves: Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, or Vilamoura, that glittering triangle where everything glows just so. It’s beautiful, yes, though a touch predictable.
